About Me

One of these things does not belong. #lucky

My name is Adam and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC) in the state of KY.

I live Northwest Tennessee with my wonderful wife, my two gorgeous and graceful girls, and our dog Piper. Our journey in marriage began in 2012 and it has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. We experience hard days just like every couple, but I wake up every day amazed at how beautiful and delightful marriage can be. I’m grieved at the battered and broken condition of marriage in our world as well as the negative attitude of many towards it, so consider this blog my way of trying to do something about it. I believe that your marriage and family life can be a tremendous source of joy and peace!

I have around nine years of experience in Youth Ministry and began working in the mental health field in early 2015, making the move to full time counseling in early 2017. Although I work with a wide range of people and mental disorders, I have always had a place in my heart for helping marriages grow and thrive. I’m trained in Gottman Level 1 Marriage Therapy with plans to further advance my training, and I work with couples of all ages and backgrounds regularly. I am also trained to lead Gottman 7 Principles Workshops for couples and look forward to putting that to practice in the near future.
